Kitchen reno tip - get a handle on things

Since the handles and pulls are installed after the cabinetry goes in, there is sometimes a few days (or more) where you have all this great cabinetry installed and no way to open and close the doors easily. Very frustrating, since you've probably been waiting weeks to put back all your dishes!  Here's a simple way to solve that problem:

Fold an 8" piece of painters tape in half in the center, and attach the two ends on the inside and outside of the drawer, creating a 'tape handle'.
Voila!
Keep in mind that the installation of the handles will involve some drilling, which will create some shavings on the inside of the cabinets. Yes, you'll have to clean again!
