Looking for home furnishings or gifts in Park Slope? The collection at  Items of Interest is tastefully edited by store owner/designer Susie Kurkowski. What I really like about this store is the range of items from small accessories to large furniture, much of which can be customized. While not everything can be displayed, there are examples of some of the larger pieces like sofas and sideboards, as well as finish and fabric samples so you can place orders with confidence.
