Interested in Pinterest?

I've said it before, and I'm sure I'll say it again: I love Pinterest.
Pinterest’s mission is to connect everyone in the world through their shared tastes and the things they find interesting. Launched a little less than two years ago, the website is a modern day bulletin board-- or scrapbook-- where users can create and manage theme-based image collections.

If you're still not a member, let me offer these awesome pins as proof of why you need to register asap.  Shown are just a few of the many different design pins taken from the website.

Users can make their own visual boards, adding images of personal interests from online or uploaded from a personal computer. These images are “pinned” to the theme-based boards, thus the name  Pinterest. A “pin” is any image posted to Pinterest, whether it is a picture, video, discussion, or gift.
Theme-based image boards are created by members on any imaginable topic. Members can either “like” or “re-pin” posts from other members, with precise instructions listed at the website under “about”. Members are also allowed to follow other members, and there is opportunity to match up with people of similar interests. Pinterest can also be followed on Facebook and Twitter.  If you've ever wondered why the Internet uses "browsers" to cull its depths, spend a few hours getting lost in Pinterest.
