Home Office / Office Home

the windows were lengthened toward  the floor to improve proportions

The storage and file space under the desk is concealed by  an IKEA curtain panel system. The rolling metal cart is from a previous kitchen, and the chair is vintage Eames from my grandmother.

The desks are two doors with a pickled wash. Leftover ductwork holds drawings, and a found frame is transformed into a magnetic board with some sheetmetal.

This cheerful office and guest room started as a bland space, albeit with  great light and high ceilings. With a slim budget and some clever re-purposing, this space welcomes me (yes, it’s mine) every morning to create inspired work for my clients.
